"There is hope in the unknown, worth in the wilderness and restored beauty in the dark cracks of our stories."
Cara is a writer, speaker, photographer and traveler to her core. Writing has been her outlet since she could hold a pen and speaking is a more recent passion. Traveling the world, chasing waterfalls and mountains and seeking adventures brings depth to who she is and life to her routine.
Cara’s heart is to invite others into the process of restoration and freedom through her writing, photography and speaking. She longs to be a voice of Truth and awaken the wonder and hope that can only be found when we allow Jesus to lead us through the process. Everyone’s process looks different, but that is what Cara believes to be the beautiful part of it all; Exploring the nature of who God created us to be in light of the truth of who God is.
Freedom in Christ is worth fighting for, anything seeking to steal that from you or offer a counterfeit freedom isn't worth having.
“If it doesn’t lead to true freedom, then it isn’t worth it.”
Cara believes honesty ushers in freedom and love. She's found true love is freedom and ultimately, God is love.
Throughout the years she has faced many disappointments and heartaches. Her road has not been easy, but she would say it has been worth it . "There is always light on the other side of darkness, but we have to fight to get there. Fight to live the adventure of a risk worth taking. The risk of wild wonder and honest stories for the sake of love." Her hope is to bring light to truth, to honesty and to love.
